'71 project Challenger

This has been my long term project. Originally a 318 904 combo, but it is a factory A/C Y3 car. I am changing to a 440 6-pack, 5-speed tremec TKO, big disc brakes (all 4) and a good handling suspension. (probably XV motorsports)

Very nice car, Glenn! :V8: Also, if you build it with the goodie's you described. It will handle like a dream. :V8:

That's a beautiful car! And it is similar to what i am doing except for the chop top. Mine is also a 71 318 904 high price code car and i am also doing the RT clone with a Brodix head 440 Dual Quad carbs setup and also a Tremec-Kaisler TKO which i have. Standard brakes though. Can i ask you- firstly, did all the RT's have the black and painted bumpers or was that an option? Also, what paint did you use for the grille and rear blackouts? Acrylic or two-pack satin black? I think you call them 'suede finish' which is in between gloss and matt.

What rear end are you running with the TKO? I have a 3.55 Posi-Trac from a B body i will need to modify.
