Finally back from paint shop.

Hi guys , I thought I would show you some of my progress. The paint is B5 Blue, It turned out good with a few minor spots to fix after i get it all back together. They didn't put clear over the blue in the trunk and they didnt paint the floor in the car. I was going to use POR 15 on the floor, Would you leave the trunk alone or paint it black or get them to put clear over it? There is also a few pictures of the new motor i bought, Its a 67 440 bored 30 over with 6 pack rods, purple shaft cam 508 lift, 906 heads with all new valves, and an 850 Holley carb. The 383 i had needed to be bored out and overall too much to be done to it.

It's sweet. I love the fact that you choose wisely on the powerplant. 440's make sick torque. You have the best heads. Closed chambered 67's are highly desired. It will be a fun ride and look tough. The idle will draw attention, but sound mean.

looks great cant wait to see it all back together as for the inside of the trunk i guess it depends on how fussy you are it looks ok in the pics & its usually shut anyway but if you want it real nice it would look better with a shine than in black as its already base coated thats just my opinion for what its worth
cheers ian

I agree, a nice coat of clear over that base coat will make it look great.
