Cool progress. I bet you are really excited. It looks like a lot of work ahead, but it will be worth it.

Learning how to do bodywork myself. That part takes a lot of time&patience, Bob's right.

Looks good. :) The underside of the hood and the springs are bit difficult. That's where I missed a few spots.

As a suggestion, check the cavity (on the hood) where the hinge bolts up. Leaves tend to gather in there and can blow out while spraying.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I recently repainted a 64 Vette. My first attempt at repainting an entire car. It came out great but sooo much work. I actually have a really good paint/bodywork guy who comes to my garage. He is really doing the work with me assisting. I am lucky to have this situation because he really knows what he is doing and is a perfectionist. Also reasonably priced.Fortunately the car was pretty straight to begin with but still requires fine tuning to get perfect gaps and no ripples. The car now has all the body work ddone and is in primer. It will be blocked out a couple times until laser straight. I cant wait to see it with new paint. I was wondering if anyone could give me more details on the A66 model. It has the original fender tag but is a California car so no build sheet. It does have power steering and brakes, AM/FM multiplex radio, vinyl top, bumblebee stripe. and a 4 speed. I have checked and it has all matching numbers on engine, trans, cowl and radiator support. It has the non rally guages, so no tach which strikes me as weird. It was never modified so original manifolds. It has an Edelbrock carb but I found an original AVS that I am going to put back on. I hope to have it back on the road by Christmas time. Just in time for winter, oh well. Happy moparing :D

Here is my A66 # matching 4 spd getting ready for body paint. It is a ev2 with a white bumble bee stripe, white for tail stripe has been sprayed on as factory did. The interior is white. This is a 9/28/69 car. Manual steering, brakes. It has rally gauges, console, hood pins (flat hood) painted mirrors, black grill, 15" wheels and wheel well moldings (original)
