# 42 formerly a 383 3 speed on the floor car , is now a nasty trans am car, with too much to mention ,but some ok pics, i know this is a chally site but killer cuda!,i intend on doing this type of rear spoiler on my car , i have an extra deck lid , why not i really like this rear spoiler, total race fab.

I bet you could get the spoiler looking better if you can blend it with the trunk line more. It does send a mean message on that cuda.

Kinda funny to see the full race cuda with the woodgrain rallye dash still in there.

yes i in tend on doing a little cleaner job with the spoiler not that that his is wrong, but its kinda bent up a little,oh well its full race, he bought the car with it , and yes the wood grain dash too :s024: :s024: :s024:

Yeah, boy, cant get over how the grille and fender gills look on a race style cuda like that. Everything Ive seen is restored Barrett Jackson stuff, nobody's dared to modify it and *gasp* have some fun.

I like it. Alot. Can you tell us what engine mods he has? It sounds like he has a really big cam in there. I also noticed it has a very 'stiff' suspension/chassis plus that Moroso underdrive alternator pulley

well i can say its a small block with indy heads i think, as far as cubes its your guess ,and i dont know the cam specs, he does have to stay within certain specs for vintage trans am racing, i could talk to him all day about his car and still not have enough info! :wink2: :wink2:

Cool, it must be a very healthy smallblock with those Indy Heads, the Trans Am MoPars in 1970 used a 301 cube destroked 340 built by the Legend himself Keith Black! As far as the Viaduct,(we call em overpasses),Someday soon maybe 'we' can run it again! :s002: Get through em baby

i think im not for certain but the current rules are not that strict, there is no money just fun , but they do wheel to wheel action, but a small block, 15 in tires, somewhat stock body panels, steel doors, and fenders, but as you can see there are plenty of mods that can be done too! with in the rules.yea i kinda dated myself with the viaduct, its not a duct at all! it heads west my friend to frisco :lol2:

Drew and his bud are doing my 'fantasy' or in other words I would love to mod an E-Body that way. I wish I could find a "body in white" and go to town on the mods like those guys have done. Big brakes, very stiff platform, 6 speeds, Lightened, a Glenn Bunch wannabe!

glen is my hero, yes 383 cars were made in abundance and i feel ,in the case of my car it was almost a crusher car when i bought it in 92, but now peeps would restore it back to origonal , for me i didnt want a ice blue 383 car i wanted a black 440 car and now i have it , same for the cuda that what he wants and he has it he also has a 73 rallye chally that needs resto , dont know what he will do next he has some trick stuff for his cuda yet so stay tuned :fight:

yea i know im kidding , but black is a cool color , it needs more tlc with body work, i did all my body and paint, in 92 its still gets trophys, you have to be patient, one area at a time it took me 1 1/2 years to get to primer i was satisfied , and then i painted it, but there is something about black , a guy once said "your a car lover if you have a black car" and i pretty much agree! and henry ford said you can get it in any color as long as its black :lol2: :lol2:

Those are cool pictures Drew and the paint looks great. They show someone spent alot of time with the block sander. Nothing wrong with personalizing your car with spoilers and such either.

You're right Christer Dark gloss colours do suck as they show any flaw in prep, finish, and age.

Yeah you need a very straight car to get away with black paint. But it is my favorite car colour.

Hemi Orange is the best colour for hiding marginal bodywork. Which is why mine is orange.

Ok, I looked at the smileys and asked myself if you were kidding or not. I did comment it mostly to reveal any doubts.

I have a feeling that jokes quite frequently gets mis-interpretated in this digital world. It is not easy to know in which mood the writer is in, except for Dave who always is grumpy..... :D

Of course Dave are grumpy, he is sitting and reading our posts at evenings when he really rather want to wake up to a new day at university where all those young skirts are to look at!
