magic mushrooms.

Danny, they are Morels. Considered a delicacy around here. I dont eat them. I give them to the old folks around here. I dont eat fungus! They sell for up to 45.00 a pound cleaned and there is approx 8 ounces here, I weighed on my engine parts scale!

There 'millions' of em! Then they are battered in flour or cornmeal and deep fried in vegetable oil. Some people eat them in soups/salads or prepared in sauces or eaten pickeled, but I cant get past those bugs. Hey Barc, I forgot you probably love these things dont you! St. Louis area is known for em I think. They dont grow all over the U.S. just in some areas where there is a change of weather from one extreme to the other and where there are a lot of forest or woods. I wonder if Pat knows what these are? Maybe it doesnt get cold enough in the Pac West area?
