Sweet Goodman! Gary Stanton racing builds the engines for the Team MoPar OutLaw Alcohol Injected Sprint cars. He also co-developed the GenIII 6.4 '392' Hemi for MoPar Performance. He is an innovator and developer for MoPar's Small Block engine program. http://www.mopar.com/speed/tech1001.htm Remember the 08 Challenger SRT-8 'Pro-Stock' replica they built? It had Stanton Hemi Power as well. Goodman, I bet your car has a hell of a engine in it.

Very nice car, Dan! I saw that episode of "Overhaulin'". When I resumed my Challenger quest a couple of year's ago, I was thinking, 70' or nothing. Wasn't looking for a 72-74 model. In my quest, I found a 73' 340 Rallye. 8) Number's matching, :) No rust! :D Had to buy. My wife was a bit confused, and asked me if I would be happy with a 73'. The answer has been yes, since I first laid my eye's on it. Just like, what I told my wife when I first saw her. Now, I prefere those year's. Sorry guy's. I think Chrysler/Dodge, got the querk's out of the car when it was already too late. I hope the new generation "Challenger", doe's better. In the mean time, our car's grow even more valuable. I have recently "Netflixed" Overhaulin. Can't wait to see your episode, again. Take Care, Pat

Dan. I love your car! And I think Chip Foose is the S--t. I would love for him to give me a ground up restoration. :D I'd like to keep my wheel's, and, my brake system though. It's not it's like Anti-lock or anything. So the Bling, of the best that you can buy, is in his budget. Not neceserely, what we need. And, with a power disc brake system, we can stop on a dime. Or at least a quarter. :s003: Anyway, I'm very envious. Like what he did with your car. Probably wouldn't work with mine. Unless, he would do mine in stock purity. Except, put my stock 340 in a temperature controlled vault. Install a gear vender's unit with an upgraded 727. Replace 3.23's for 4.11's. And yes! Give me that 3'RD Generatation 6.1, Hemi. :s003: Yeh, I could live with that. :D Than I woke up. :tears: Between both kid's College, House furness,Roof. It will happen, someday. Patrick

Hey, J.R. How's it going? I wasn't even talkin' about gettin' Foosed. It's just the kid's, the house, the life thing. I'm gonna do this on my own. 8) It's just the normal life thing. I make plan's for the car. Then the need's of real life slap's me in the face. I'll get the good stuff for my car. It just might take a little longer, that's all. :) By the way. What's up with "Overhaulin' ", anyway? Are they gonna make anymore episode's? With the passing of Boyd, "American Hot Rod", Coddington. I'm jonesing for some muscle car T.V. :s023: Now, I have to netflix, and watch rerun's, to get my fix. And NO, I don't care for,"Pimp My Ride". :madd: Talk to you soon, Pat

JR, do you know if Chips dad's named is Sam? I had my Challenger painted back in the late 70's at Project Design in Santa Barbara. Sam Foose was the owner.

Thanks for the reply. Back then PD was the place to have your car done on the west coast. I think it cost me $1,100 to have it prepped, some minor body work, a bit of rust in the rear window repaired, and new vinyl top. Still have the receipt somewhere.
