I really like those valve covers. Kinda of a cross between the old Mickey Thompson and Edlebrock Small Block removable top covers, but for a B/RB of course. Are those the 'Jensen' parts you spoke of? What kind of an intake is that, the stock dual plane in alloy?

If I remember right (it has been a long while since i worked on one) they had the word "Jensen" machined into them where 'Nana has a plate pop-rivited on in those photos.

Nanna, who did the lump teardown and how much did it cost, I think I will go the same way with my 440 on the 72?

The 440 that came out of here, is getting a full rebuild and stroked to 512 to go in the Plodge (on other thread) and is getting the works.

Well, we are still waiting for the stroker kits to come, which is different from just rebuilding, although its getting a re-bore soon.

I dont speak english very well, but yet i can still understand that he is gonna' stroke the engine, and if you buy a completely new stroker kit it aint the same kind of dollar$ we talk about, as just a "rebuild" work, when you already got your crank and rods etc. And only in need of the bearings and the block to be bored etc.... Right Nana? 8)

Yep, spot on
The Challenger is getting a new STANDARD 440 with a six pack, and the old engine from it is getting stroked and put into our other project.
