'70 Challenger Progress- Dec 2007

Postby cv70chall » 15 Dec 2007 21:35

We're closing in on finally getting the body done.
Then, it's into my garage to re-do the interior, gauge cluster, wiring, seatbelts, dynamat, gas cap and front suspension.

Cool man. I love projects congrats! As far as the colour, what do you like? I have always loved a Black Challenger.(Dark colours are very hard to keep clean, grey is the best, dont paint it with any modern type colours I hate they way they look on vintage machines) Something evil and sinister about them. I really like jimiboys Challenger! Red is my next fav, it looks classy and so does Grey if accented with a touch of Chrome, or monochromatic, I know there are some Chrome Haters on here! :s024:

I think the 72-74 Challengers look best in black. I like '70s (like the one in this thread you just hi-jacked) in Hemi orange.

I agree w/Dave on the 72-74's in black. It gives the front end a better look.IMHO

On mine I had the front painted the same black as the hood. I had a 70 barracuda years ago in EV2 and wanted another E-body EV2.
