Hi Guys! These are my favourite pick's of my pearl!
The winter are coming soon and i have put him in bed, in the garage a few weeks ago. I am already longing for the spring to come!
It's nice to have this board as consolation do...

I have to say Jimi, that pic of your car and the background is stunning, I saved it to file. I love the old brick building background. It would be a cool album cover! (EVIL) I hope winter goes as fast as summer did. I got to drive about 15 times this season. Next year I hope to double that!

Thanks Eddie! It's an old train station (i don't know if thats the right translation) that is really odd and look very special... I took the pic after a Summer meeting in "Haparanda". It was a coinsidence that i tried to reconstruct it. The sun had spoilt a part of the pic at first, but now it doesnt show and it got even better then in colour!

I did'nt drive as much as i usually do, me neither this year, but there was more than 15 times do...
I feel a bit sorry for you I also hope the winter will go fast!

Yeah, I probably would have driven it much more but the same old no time no money ect... The winters here have been exceptionally mild these last few years. Last year I drove the R/T up until Jan. because it was 50 degrees until then. They are 'saying' it's going to be the same this year. I have 3 4x4's dont need them anymore

It would be cool having 4 wheel drive.
You got long seasons for driving musclecars then? We only have about 6, maybe 7 months... At least in the north of sweden.

There were several experimental 1970 Challengers fitted with 4WD.

Jensen in the UK were fitting Fergusson 4WD to Jensen Interceptors (which use 383 and 440 engines) and Dodge sent over a (or maybe 3) 383 powered Challenger R/Ts for conversion. One was still around (although almost un-restorable) here in the UK about 10 years ago but I don't know what happened to it. Probably scrapped.

Ford did a few big block Boss Mustangs in 1970 as well I think. But they actually got sold to the public where as the Challengers never were.

Jimi, we can drive with warm temps for about 8 months anymore due to the mild winters we are having lately. When I was a teenager you could count on having 3-6 feet of snow and a lot of ice, perfect for 4 wheel drive. Last year we had 6" total and maybe 1 " of ice, global warming perhaps? My wife has a Jeep Liberty and my (2), 4- wheel drive Dodge Trucks and I used to go 4wheeling with them but dont anymore.

They did? wonder how many of those cars they had sold if they should sold such cars back then(?) hmmm....
No matter what you guys think, i believe a real musclecar is supposed to be 2wd/backwheels...

It would be nice with 4wd in a big pick up as a dailydriver.

Was it a black Interceptor Mel Gibson drove in Mad Max? What kind of brand is that? I did'nt knew they had mopar engines in them

I am a bit jealous about your long seasons, but hey! Why not move to California also remember winters were earlier, with lots of snow. A bit sad. even do winter ain't my favourite time of year! Lets hope it is normal changes going around. Do you got any pick's of those Dodge trucks?

Its some sort of old train station i believe. It is in Haparanda, the north of Sweden, near the boarder on to Finland. Cool that you like them!

Jimi, here is my 1990 W-150 4x4 360/5.9 Magnum powered, 9.25 Rear with Dana 44 Front.

My 2002 Dodge Ram Cummins Diesel Heavy Duty 4x4 6-speed, with Dana 80 rear Dana 60 Front. Unlike my 90, it's 100% Stock except for body armour, and staying that way. These diesel Rams routinely eclipse 1,000,000 miles and average 20+M.P.G.!

Interior of the diesel! Heated leather although I have them covered in Wet Okole seat covers which are made in Neoprene, SLT+ package(every available option plus two, heated tow mirrors, sliding rear tinted glass)

Don't be silly. The cars in Mad Max were Australian Ford Falcons.

Jensen Interceptors were an upmarket British musclecar for people that couldn't afford Aston Martins.

Funny enough the Australian Valiant Charger was imported to the UK as a car for people that couldn't afford a Jensen either.

The Mad Max cars had to have a blower on them. Couldn't make the power of a Mopar without one!

It was a long while since i saw that movie, i was sure there was in one of those, maybe the second movie, he had a small, black sports car... with a kid on a seat hanging on the passenger sides door(?) or something like that??
I do know i have seen a video cut on internet once, with a jensen interceptor doing a looong burnout during shifting, up to highway speed, and it was a v-8.. i thought that was a home made combo.. I bet those who bought those mopar engine, jensen cars had more fun then those with Aston Martins!

Thanks Jimi, I would let the black older Dodge go for a new 08 Challenger! At least 10k worth, I hate to get rid of it cause it's special ordered with the stump pulling 4-speed tranny,(N.P.435), Detroit Lockered Rear and Randys H.D. Axels.(it's also rust free which cant be said for most of the early 90's you see, someday it will be rare to see one in this condition) But I have "Dodge Fever" and that new 08 R/T with a 6-speed and 6.1 Hemi has me in a voodoo spell, can you dig it?

Yeah! How nice would'nt that be for daily rides...

My engine bay is still not for show off yet, but i thought i could start out small and post some pic's (start to remember take pic's) on the slow progress of detailing. I usually take the chance to get the grip of the details when some sh*t happen's... These few weeks since i took out "the black" i already have had a leak on my steering pump- got the pipe welded and saw the chance to get some better look on the pump...
Yesterday i was stopped by my distributor that felt it was the last time for race. It had the look worse then Golden Strike... (On the bottle you know?) These old kind of rotors with thin bleck is not the best i guess(!) The rotor & cap was messed up and scattered in the distrubitor... I took it apart to clean up the mess & checked tolerances, got new parts, got it oiled and painted and felt like posting cause i thought it went out looking nice, and still one more detail to the good looking engine bay that i might find the courage to show you guys some day

Anybody feel to suggest about good ignition type/ distributors?

I have had suggestions of Mallory, type with coil built in and only one wire(?) Or MSD?

Feel free to get your point of views...

Jimmiboy. Check out 4secondsflat.com. Much better than original Electrical Ignition. Don at F.B.O. will talk to you. This is his passion! He race's Mopar's. Been into this for quite some time. I had some trouble tuning my original ignition, wasn't happy. Brand new orange box, + new Plug's, Coil, and Wire's. Jon, from California, told me about this guy. And he's only about an hour or so from my place. F.B.O., I think is better M.S.D. Call Don at 1(541)942 5920. Tell him the speck's for your motor, and he will square you away. . And he will gaurintee this stuff, as long as YOU have it. Give him a call.

Thought i could show you guys the new seats i've mounted today. I think these looks better in my car then the stock seats & hopefully i will sit better. (specially in the corners)

And some pic's that i do not recall if i have showed off yet(?) Like them anyhow...

Did fix my back panels also, a while ago... There where big holes from some 6" speakers that i have covered with some speaker bars untill now, but the holes vere pretty obvious even covered with those.
Found a great ground colour for plastic that was clear, and finished with matte black.
I do not know where to get these panels new?
But they look much better now until further notice... Maybe not visible for those who don't know anything about them nasty holes.
