Great Challenger.

Any reason for the '72-74 steering wheel? Just prefer it?

Teddy Bear = Country Music. LOL! I do prefer the 72-74 steering wheel, I do have the original "wood" wheel but I think it's ugly. I am still working on a oil pick up tube problem posted under eng, fuel etc... Thanks for the compliments! Rick

I forgot to mention, enlarge the first picture and you will notice the inspection sticker on the windshield it reads 1981, that's how long this gem has been sitting in a Ladys garage. Her husband bought it new in 1970 (have all paperwork, documents, even copy of original title) He later became ill and passed away :( . His wife held on to it all those years for sentimental reasons until I came along in January of 2007! I rebuilt the existing six pak, replaced the fuel tank and pump and she came to life as if she was shut down the day before 8) I have pondered over the six pak being dealer installed because it sure looks like it has been there since day one and all carbs and intake are date correct. She also gave me the original 4bbl and intake in a box which appear to have been never on the car (take offs?) She told me it was repainted in 1980 and still wears that same paint today! No rust whatsoever and all original panels! Yes, I do appreciate it and feels as if I hit the lottery because this is certainly a once in a lifetime find. Everything works including the 8 track 8) . Glad to share the story with everyone.

That country tape was in the tape deck when I purchased the car and it still plays good  I also have about 60 other 8 tracks I cruise to including AC/DC, Eagles, CCR, Etc.etc... There is no other feeling in the world like the one I get driving this car  It is like being in a time capsule! I have always been a Mopar freak since I can remember my first car was a 71 Roadrunner 440 4bbl automatic at the age of 15! I restored it myself and was the only 16 year old kid in High School with a cool a$$ Mopar! I was born in 1970 so I didn't have the luxury of owning or driving these cars when they were new  I envy you guys that got to purchase these cars new, but at the same time... you're also alot older  lol!

Nice shot! I see you have the Federal,(Saginaw), pump with cooler. Cool! For the number crunchers, how did one get that cooler option from the factory? I too have the MoPar orange box electronic ignition. It's mounted inside my glovebox area. Dont tell anyone :s009:

I have never seen another B7 Blue 70 R/T SE 440 4 speed with Dana 4.10 STP. I know only 142 4speed 440 cars were built, but how many with the STP option and in B7 Blue? Has to be pretty rare! I love the combo, also factory stripe delete car with performance hood treatment and pins!

Blue is my favorite color. With your combo it's very rare and desirable, plus you have all the goodies! It just doesnt get any better Rick!
