I had to replace the starter in my Dodge Truck posted above when I went to Hooker, (1 5/8" Equal Length Primaries), Headers. I just ordered a 119.00 New Nipp starter from www.manciniracing.com my old one did the same thing, melted everything into a nice goopy plastic mess, plus it was about 14 years old at the time. Discard the extended relay on Big Blocks, it fits in 1/2 the space as my old big O.E.M. starter that was on it. I knew it was a matter of time cause the primary tubes butted up tight against it, so when it went out, I had the spare mini MoPar starter on stand by. Yeah, let us know how it hangs! (goes)! Where is your next event Drew? Please take some more pics and video would be awesome! I would much rather watch our board members cars than any asscar type closed wheel race!

It sounds like your car is getting a "bit hungry" as such with cars that are 'real race' cars. It's great that your AMX buddy can assist you, cool, it will be at that same track no surprises there huh, :s002: I bet getting 'motivated is hard to do at times with the cost of parts, fuel, insurance, ect..plus the stress of it all, but man the rewards, when you passed him on that video, I swear I could hear you 'giggling' at his 'demise'

I need to take my car here. 125.00 for the day, street cars allowed. www.waterfordhills.com it's about 5 hours from here though, and I dont have a trailer yet, having some concrete work done at my home garage, 7,000 worth! It'll be really nice though, a huge clean concrete strip all around my garage, perfect for a burndown!
