Great looking car. You have to be very proud of it. There is nothing like that feeling you get after completing such projet.

Really looks awesome.

For many people it is difficult to appreciate all of the hard work involved with creating a beauty like that. Not us. :)

Thanks for all the kind words everyone, and thanks for the welcome to the board!

I was actually a member here before (I still have the original activation email!), but I got so tied up in the project that I didn't get out here very often, so I guess I was "deactivated" (sounds like something off Star Trek, LOL!).

Mopar Collector's Guide did a photo shoot on the car at the Nats, so you may all get to see a bunch more shots of the car if I'm lucky. My company and I are involved in the Mopar Restoration Parts Program. If you guys like the fact that the volume of parts available has expanded by about 600% since we took over the program, then that was me that did it. If, however, you don't like something about it, then it was some other guy :) .

As some of you said, you can't appreciate how much work it takes to take one of these things completely apart and do a nut and bolt restoration. I thought I did until this project; now I really do. I think a good rule of thumb is to do your best job of estimating how long it's going to take and how much it's going to cost. If you then double one factor and triple the other (triple the one you have the most of, be it time or $$$!), then you'll know how long it'll REALLY take and cost :).

Anyway, thanks again everyone. I love the car, and it is fast. It's a car and is meant to be driven and is being driven !

I was there Sat and remember it. Next to the SRT-10 Viper right? and the MoPar interactive display with all the fancy unobtainable aluminum parts? I was awestruck by that rare beauty! This car, Landy's Dodge Pro-Stocker was also near it, I think. Oh and thanks so much for making our parts available for us and our Challengers!! :s004:

Eddie-

Yep, that was my car!

As to the questions about upcoming parts, I can tell you that a bunch of new trim parts have just been released and a bunch more are coming. Watch the websites for B,E, and A Restorations, MetroParts, Stephens Performance and Auto Metal Direct closely, as they all have a lot of new stuff (I don't have their URL's handy, but Google will give them to you). Also, email the things you need to opportunities@moparmarks.com ; all requests that come into this email address are forwarded to the appropriate licensees; if it is something that can be economically done and there is a market demand, we'll get someone to do it.

Thanks again for all the kind words about my car! :!:

I sorry I am rather late in saying hello.

Hello. :D

Yeah you probably got zapped off the board along with a whole bunch of others that didn't come by for a long time.

I have had a bit of stick for that since so I will not be doing it again. :sheepish: :bonk:

The car looks amazing. I wish I had the time money and skills to create something as beautiful as that.
Good job you have done there.

Sounds like you are doing your bit for all us Challenger owners too. That can only be a good thing.
