The only reason I avoid the rain in my Chally is that the damn windows steam up and I can't see a thing.

The front screen clears but the side and rear glass do not.

So I have to keep winding the windows down at junctions and use the little door mirrors to try and work out what is behind me. We drive on the left remember so have to use the passengers side door mirror to see behind. If I do not have a passenger to wind the window down I can't see behind at all.

But I have been in several heavy storms with it. It cannot be avoided sometimes. The UK has so many micro climates going on some days that it can be heavy rain in one place and dry all day 10 miles down the road.

When I get my Chally working next year I quite fancy a run over there to a show. Maybe hire a cottage somewhere for a week.

I hope the weather holds for you. 8)
