Hey Eddie. The seam in uncut. It is folded over itself and flattened as much as I could get it flat. I guess the material just wasn't stretched as much as it shouldhave been but the factory seams are in the right place as they flow back over the sail panel.

Agree on the car.. Buddy of mine had an almost identical twin to this, minus the tail stripe, back when we were ib high school. Back when these were just used cars. I think he ended up selling it for around 1500-2000 USD.

hey dayley,it is a real joy to see your car is coming along.nice to see another top banana rt/se. these photos are for you. it shure would be cool to have are cars side by side once your finished, one with the body stripe and one with the rear body stripe. oops---had another look at your thread, your colour is lemon drop. still looks good. i guess your car was red when it was new,as your avatar shows an early photo. still would be a pleasure to take a photo of our cars together.

Thanks there rtse. This car now isn't the one in the avatar. I had a 70 340 back then. That is the wife , which I still have. This car has a 440. I have a ways to go still until she is on the road legally. I like the color too. Don't see too many Yellow vehicles.........

Big Al, I love your car more and more. How's that blind spot with the Opra window? I think mine's huge. "Blind spot that is."Coudn't imagine what it would be like with an S.E. window back there. Love that yellow car!

P.S. What's up with the 71+ steering wheel?

Hey Patrick. I actually have 73 interior. Previous owner had some electrical problems and stripped out the dash and all. I feel lucky to have what I have now. Only a driver anyway so everything doesn't have to be exact. Had the seats covered. Covers are from Legendary. I couldn't get 73 foam so there are a few wrinkles. Just part of the process and again, everything won't be exact. Thanks for the good comments. Visit my website, there are more pics there than here and more detail starting in 2004........David

When I put the valence on it didn't fit well, didn't match up with the stripe location and the color was off some. I have made some mods which help two of the problems. I am now better pleased with the result. Comments are welcome.....................

Well I got the car all jacked up now and pulled the pipes off that I had hung up with coathangers just to be able to move her from time to time. Went shopping for mufflers and picked up something that if it doesn't work , then I am only out about $50.00. Thrush Turbo..........Old Woody Wood Pecker himself............I will post a video on sound after I get it done.
