Been a long time! Had some troubles with my previous Laptop and lost all my log in info.LOL
Well, after getting everything up and running, I swapped out the 904 for a beefed up 727 and made some trips to the dragstrip and had a blast.
Started off running 14.5's @ 104mph shifting on it's own with the tired 904 down to 13.5's @ 104 shifting by ear.
Next trip netted Low 13's @ 107 with the new 727 and a timing change.
3rd trip netted a 12.87 @ 109+ with another timing change along with some drag radials.
4th trip netted a 12.77 @ 108+ staying the same.
Had a blast running it all summer. Added about 3500miles to the car too. Along the way I made a trip to Carlisle for the big show and landed a 2nd Place in Class on the Fun Field and also a 2nd Place Modified at an All Mopar show in my area as well. Went on a few car cruises including the Moparts Summer Cruise and a Cruise with Massmopar to AutoRust in RI.
Plans for the winter include a new Headliner and some cleaning.LOL
some very nice photos & some very nice cars to keep the chally company on the cruise well done on improving the et's just shows what the correct tune & a bit of traction will do keep it up
cheers ian
I ended up fitting a driveshaft loop too when I swapped int he 727. Here is a Tip, make sure the drain plug is tight on your converter before you go for a ride... I can get 17+mpg as well if I cruise at 65mph steady, but usually I get around 14-15 the way I drive.LOL Tom
Had a sweet trip to Carlisle this year with the Wife and no kids. Drove the Challenger down, about 1200 miles all together including cruising around in PA.
Car drove well at 70mph and pulled down 15mpg to boot. Some other pics from a cruise locally as well.
