Hemi-Challenger with T/A hood

Postby PPPFFF » 02 Feb 2006 14:09

2 years ago with the help of this board I found and purchased a 1970 Hemi-Challenger with a factory installed T/A hood. It is one of 2 listed in the Chrysler Registry.

I have received some peronal messages about the car recently so I thought I would share a picture again with the board.

Thanks, Patrick

Did you ever fit that AM radio I gave you Patrick?

After having the build sheet decoded I learned the car was actually delivered without a radio from the factory. At first I was told it came with a AM radio. That wasn't the case. I still have your AM radio in the box you mailed it in! I would be more than glad to mail it back Dave.

If you PM me the address to send it to, it will go out immediately.

Dave was nice enough to send it to me at no charge for the radio or shipping.

No vinyl roof from the factory, right? That must also be quite rare? Your car is really something! :s007:

Yeah it was. Maybe that's why I am always poor and can't hardly afford one car let alone consider owning several.

But never mind. My address is;

Guys,
I'm looking for a working stock AM radio with the 2 knobs on the left hand side for a 70 Rallye dash.

If neither of you need it, I'd be more than happy to purchase from you.

I have one in the dash but it doesn't work and I've been thinking, just recently, of looking for a working radio.

I like the STOCK look with everything working. I don't know ,it's just me.

Let me know. Thanks
OH! By the way PPPFFF---Beautiful car. Nice find.

Patrick's Car, 1/24 form

Postby Kelly » 05 Feb 2006 20:48

I have been sending correspondence back and forth with Patrick, about his car...I had to share these with you guys!
So here I am 15, just read the-then new 1996 Mopar Muscle article on "El Hemi". I saw the photos of the car, and decided to build the car...
I saw the photos on this thread, so I went and dug this model out of storage, glued it back together, washed it, and took some photos...
So here instead of my interpretation of 'El Hemi', is an interpretation of Patrick's R/T instead!
