Good luck with the top alteration, Ian. I'm sure, it will come out, perfect! :D I like because, I'm a black vinyl top, kinda guy. :mrgreen: Car look's beautiful!!!!! :thumbsup: But, if you ever change the stock hood,to a Rallye, you wouldn't break my heart. :s004:

The top I bought for mine from Year One fitted both roof types. :? I had to trim a lot off around the rear window because there was enough material for a SE.

But the one I got was the wide seam version which orignally was designed for the SE anyway. But many normal hardtops had it fitted.
Maybe that was why mine had more material?

i was suposed to call the motor trimmer today to see how he got on with it he was doing it yesterday when i called but today was flat out & i forgot to give him a call till it was to late ill ring him tomorow hopefully itll be ready to go

ill go & pic it up on wednesday front windsreen is going in on tuesday had a look at it today its looking good then when its home again the motor & front suspension will come out & get replaced

thanks the motor is a 440 stroked to 512 all 440 source stuff there alli heads & stroker kit ill post pics as i build it

thanx guys ,patrick im hoping to put a shaker on it in time but it might have to wait a couple of years till ive done everything else to make it drivable & get it licenced & recover from the cost of what ive had to spend on it

made a start at least got it cleaned up & painted & did a bit of clearancingbut im getting there (baby steps) all my mates want me to hurry up so they can go for a ride but theyll just havr to be patient wont they

Ian, is that going to be the 6-pack you bought for a good price? I think that's the block i once owned too - sold it to that panel beater down your way with the Panther Pink Chal.

By the way, wing looks good. i copied the pics as i am putting the same wing on my 71. Did you have the proper measurements (like the bumblebee instructions) or did you do it by looking at photos?

Also, did you do it in Satin black? or the Chrysler special code black? - acrylic or 2-pack? thanks

Ian, did you get any machine work done to the block other than a bore/hone? The paint job looks real nice. :thumbsup:

thanks guys yea steve thats the same block
the bumble bee stripe is acrylic ( lacqure) i used the original di mentions for the stripe see pic
yea eddie i just had the bores done & got the macinist to check it over & fit the cam bearings & he said it was all good he didnt even want to bore it 30 thou but thats the smallest size that 440 source do in the stroker kits
