thanx for the advise & the compliments guys im very happy with how its going even though i dont get enough time to work on it
im hoping to get the preliminary inspection thats required for imported vehicles in feburary then any further inspections can be done locally for registration
i plan to get it rego'd with the 318 then put the 440 in once its rego'd i think it will be a lot less trouble getting it licensed with a standard engine just in case the inspector is an old stick in the mud
cheers ian

gday guys ill get some pick as soon as im able as for the stroker eddie its had a couple of hickups my fault i didnt wait till i could afford quality bits & bought a few cheaper bits should have bought arp head bolts & the proform roller rockers are also not a good investment so ive ordered a set of hughes rockers but other than the head bolts stretching & a rocker unadjusting itself everything else was sweet when i ran it sounds as mean as cant wait to get it running properly & take it for a spin
