Hi Tim brought the car with the engine in ,but can tell you the crank/rods have been bead blasted, polished and balanced(there like chrome),high compression pistons, purple camshaft hyd duration 284/284 lift .484" cam and crank have been centre lined, heads have been skimmed ported and gas flowed mopar intake manifold and topped off with 750holley dp carb. The engine was built for mild drag racing with completey rebuilt gearbox (extra clutches) with teflon bands for mega quick gearchanges all this runs though a B&m shifter and a 3800 stall converter.

Thanks for that Steve. That's a good strong spec, and a beautiful car too.
Have you had much opportunity to run it over here yet? (I apologise if this is a well known car, I don't get out much
).

You're moving to Calgary ? Yee haaww there fella ! cruise nites abound out here in the summer if thats what you're into, no shortage of events or cars.
Depending what you're looking for, and age/demographics, you can do everything from official show and shines to "outlaw" street racing for money @ 2:00 am in industrial back roads with 500 spectators and side bets ! Pretty scarey stuff these days though, without steroids or forced induction, most 10 second naturally aspirated stuff is just a "field car". Lots of petro dollars.
Whatever you're into, you can find it here in the car scene, very vibrant. Clubs, org.'s, parties, you name it, everything ! and by the way, it's not uncommon to see other classic mopars, or any other brands, as daily drivers here in the summer ! Local Drag Strip, open Friday nites 'til 1:00 am.
I think you'll enjoy it immensely if you're into cars.

Hey you, I hope you put a blanket on that new roof before laying that hood on it.

And I thought Calgary was all cowboys and horse shit.
I was just going to say I have never been to Calgary but I don't think that is true. I have a feeling I passed through there in 1996 coming East from Banff before heading North up through Red Deer and off to Wetaskiwin (where I came across a great little car show by accident) and onto the Camrose area where my sister lives.
I would LOVE to live in Alberta. If I could find someplace where the bloody flies don't bite ya!

Sell the car, BUY the acreage. Then you can re-acquire and fill the acreage with cars !
Sacreledge yes, but you can replace the car around here if 'ya have to. They just ain't that rare. Problem is, while the price of cars and challengers is still climbing, it ain't "squat" compared to real estate around here for the foreseeable future. It's gonna get even worse ! Too much OIL !
Contact me when you get here, if you had to sell car, and still wanna cruise, or, I can still find a few decent units around when you're ready again, or put you in touch with guys in CALGARY/OKOTOKS into mopars etc.
It'll work out fine ! Believe in fate !
Can I come over to your acreage, sit on the porch, drink beer, and shoot gophers ?
LMAO ! Relax, I'm just kidding, I'm not a REDNECK ! Piston head Yes, but not totally unrefined, I NEVER "SIT" while drinking beer and shoot'in gophers. Tehehehe !
Still just kidd'in ya !
