The kek360 project

Postby kek360 » 20 Oct 2005 20:01

Here are some photos of my 73. We've decided to do a total restore but on a limited budget as I have three boys in hockey. So it might be a while before I'm up with most of you gents. Debate still continues; go with the 360 that I have, or change the K for a 440. Going for show with a little power...Keith

If by chance you mean the k member, you don't have to change it, all mopar v8s in the challenger used the same k member you just have to get the correct engine mounts. www.engine-swaps.com is the best place to get them from.

A ground-up resto project is a costly business. I think it is a good idea to save some $$$ on things that you can live without. If your 360" runs good, I would keep it for a start and maybe do a engine swap as a winther project in the future. Just my opinion.... Keep up the good work. :s017:

Or stick a 4-inch stroker crank in there and show us 440 boys a thing or two with a 408 inch sleeper.
