440 R/T Project update

Hi here are some shots of the car . All the panels are in paint . My painter was putting on the top banana yellow bumble bee stripe today. The car should be coming home on saturday. Thanks for viewing. Steve

Thats awesome!!! But Please, OH PLEASE paint your rad support BLACK!

Other wise the awesome paint will shine through your grill and take away one of the 70 Challengers best features.


This one below isn't "soooo" bad because the hood release piece is black but a lot of cars do have theirs body color as well. :shock:
But this is still a bad looking grill. Many a MoPar magazine point out this issue. :thumbsup:

Oh don't worry i hate that. This car is going to done write.I have date coded fan delts and 14inch polyglass ,and single point dis date coded carb My buddy and hope to have sweet car no hack jobs here.I say build it the way you like it ,if you like mags put mags on . :thumbsup:

Yeah I used to bang on at people about the rad support for years. Mainly in the late '90s. There were so many high dollar cars making that mistake until just two or three years ago.

Also I LOVE that body/stripe paint combo. :mrgreen:
