Hi,
Finally after almost four years of hard work I finished my Challenger.
The Car was born in 09.Jan 1973 as a non-Rally 318 ci in Bright Red colour. In 2001 I imported her from Canada
Now she has 440 with ported heads, big valves, Hughes camshaft (HEH 2330), Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Edelbrock 750 cfm carb, headers, and KB pistons.
Automatic transmission 727, rear axle 8 ¾ - 3.55 with locker.
Body was sandblasted and painted in VW red, interior redone in black leader and black “velvet”.
Dyno results: 388HP @ 5046rpm and 661 Nm @ 3067 rpm

That looks like a pretty flat torque curve between 2K - 4K on that engine! That is where most of your driving will be with those gears.

I take it this was a "chassis dyno" so those figures are rear wheel HP?

661 Nm is about 488lbs/ft of torque I think? It must feel really strong on the street?

Are you happy with it?

Car is very strong from low rpm and this constant torque is like in modern diesel, it pulls like h....- and, yes I like it !
Unfortunately winter is coming so I can't enjoy the ride...
