I have heard so much about this car for months and didn't realise it was yours Steve! Will you be at the Mopar Nats this year? I hope so because I would love to see the car. 8) It is almost exactly like a 1/24th model I made years ago.

What is the story on the chassis? Who built it etc?

PostPosted: 21 Apr 2004 13:16
by mopar steve
Dave, it was built wa---ay back in 1991, by Geoff Owen, who has since sadly stopped trading, he did a real good deal back then which was a package covering, chassis, suspension, mounting the engine/box further back, narrowing the rear axle, steering, and obviously remounting the main bodyshell. The finished chassis picture below. :o

Wheh, must have missed this one! Steve, your car looks freaking tough mate. How could I miss one like this? Must log in more regular!

This is the kind of car I still MUST own sometime. Drop in a pumpgas mill and play with the guys reving the 4bangers at the lights! (not that I have to worry about that right now anyway) Must be a blast to ride a thing like that.

We want more pics!! How's the paint actually, on the photo's it looks kind of I don't know how to call this. Wanna swap cars, as a rolling body off course

Keep it going!

Hans,
glad you like the car, the paint is FC7, plum crazy, but from ici, which for some reason, comes out a different shade, slightly crazier than usual crazy! Yes it is fun at the lights!!

So Dave Dick and Jeff Brown have been taking photos of your car for you eh?

I don't think I have ever met Dave Dick? But he has taken some good photos of my car in the past.

Jeff Brown (Big Red 'n' Loud) I do know very well. He has this slow red car that even my female friends keep overtaking. :P
