Very nice Christer! :s002: The cars are nice as well! I have been aware of a hardcore group of Chrysler enthusiasts from the Netherlands, Sweden, U.K. Germany,France and Australia. Here in the states seems like Ohio is the hotspot state. MoPars are maybe 10-20% of the hobby. Whats it where you live?

About the same I guess. I try to stay away from other makes so I canĀ“t say anything for sure though :)

It's hard to avoid the other makes around here. Of particular interest to me is the MG "club" that uses small american V-8's for their engines. The best of both worlds, make mine 340 MoPar powered with Sir Harry Westlake heads and aluminum blocked!

Man, where were you on sunday? I couldn't find you anymore... :s001:

Saterday, end of the morning, you was in the line-up between 2 plum crazy challengers. On in front of you and me behind you. Thought I had to check yours out as it looked beautifull but as I had to wrench around the whole they to get my clutch disc fixed (which seems to be still working) I had no time to check yours out before sunday.

Congrats on the new best. Always nice to get new pb's eh. Well done

Sounds like a plan in the offing here. :s002:

What are you up to with the car then Steve?

Fancy doing some rounds of Pro ET? :)

PostPosted: 04 Oct 2009 6:24
by mopar steve
No thanks on the pro et! :?

Hoping to have a flat hood next year, but to also get the car into the nines, and also be a bit more streetable!! Running that 10 with the 'little' 383 was great, but the engine was right on it's limit, spent more time looking at the temp gauge than out of the screen!!!!! :s008:

Would love to be able to drive the car more than l already have, in 6 years, i've only clocked up just over 2000 miles!!!!

I know what you mean, we haven't driven ours on the road for 2 years since we keep breaking stuff :s005: . However it looks like we've adressed all that now :D and we should be back on the road next year. We're after a no breakage season, then we'll fit a quantum leap of upgrades. It's ironic really that an F3 is capable of supporting 2000hp+ (though we wont be anywhere near that.......... at first  ), yet when the engine is off boost the motor will be milder with less cam, compression, stall, gear etc.
We're determined to run a 9.3 N/A, which @ nearly 3900lb, to get those 2 10ths, I need to find 70hp. Not easy when your already near the limit :(
I'm very much of the opinion that if you want your cake and to eat it, turbo's, centrifugal s/c's and N20 systems are the way to go, though there is a certain kudos running quick N/A
Sorry to ramble on

Just come back from Florida, can't believe those guys are running 6's @ 200mph!!!!!!! :s006:
( World Street Finals, @ Orlando).
