New to the board

Hello all,
I am a new member to this board. Like most of you, I have been wrenching away on a project Challenger for a couple of years now. I had a 70 Chevelle back in high school in '86. After that I got out of cars. I caught the bug again a couple of years ago and made the switch to Mopars. I saw this piece of junk Challenger behind the shop of some guy that owned an army surplus store. I've tried to do it justice but money is always at a premium.
Knowing that many of you own perfect, numbers matching machines, I humbly submit the website that I have made chronicling my restoration.

Yeah I have been keeping an eye on your web site for a while now. You are doing a great job. :D

One thing though. I couldn't help but wonder why on earth you didn't fit a new cam when you did all that other work on the engine??

hey pscartozzi I have also enjoyed your restoration, probably more than any other chally resto i have seen on the net. I have to ask, what kind of problems have you experienced since your last update way back when, and also would it be posible to see some recent pics.

Thanks for the response,
As far as the cam, I really didn't do that much work on the engine. I figured I'd work my way into this. Now that I have a little more confidence I think I'm up to it. I'll probably redo the short block at the same time.
I haven't updated the site lately because I just finished a move from Spokane Washington to Albany NY for work. The kind of work I do is kinda specialized (fuel cell engineer) so I had to follow the work. I did bring the car with me. Believe me, bringing the car and convincing my wife to leave her grand piano was quite a feat!
I've done a lot to the car. I've just finished completely restoring the interior. I did everything myself. Everything from carpet to head liner. I have also prepped my new 8 3/4 rear end. I haven't been able to blow the 7 1/4 yet. I don't know if I should be greatful or ashamed!. It's kinda an oddball because it's posi (sorry, thats from my bowtie days, I mean sure grip). I'm also gathering my parts for a front end rebuild and 11" disk swap.
