UGH!

Amazing what a little cleaning does. I couldn't believe I found a perfect Dash pad in a convertible without a top for so many years.

The crap must have preserved it. Stopped the light/heat/oxygen getting to it. Rallye dash and 4-speed. Cool.

It may look like a turd at first glance but under all that mess it seems pretty solid. I think you have got yourself a very good car there mate and it will clean up real good.

It's Alive!!!!!! I started the car for the first time yesterday. That means I heard it run for the first time in my life! I've been around the car for almost 20 years. Boy did it run good. That 340 makes a monsterous sound especially with out an exhaust system. Next step will be to diamantle it to begin restoration.

Yipee! Any car without an exhaust sounds loud, but one you've never heard in 20 years has got to sound sweet! You know the sound of my 340 since you've seen it, and you have so much more fun in store. Keep the good news coming!
