I got a nice and old stamp with a Challenger on it. It is from Sharjah, Dubai (Emirates) area, I think. It is an old stamp from 1970. Has somebody else a stamp with a Challenger on it ?

I have never seen that before. It was the 'space' ones I used to collect when I was a kid.
Thanks for 'posting' it!

COOL! Jens, I'll be the first one to show that I'm a fool and ignorant. Where in the world IS this? You gave some info that didn't make a lick of sense to me. I assume the first was a 1914 Dodge Brothers car, correct? This has to be the coolest stamp I've seen without having some dead person on it!

Hi Jeff, it is in the middle-east.
Sharjah is a part of the town Dubai (or next to Dubai), located in the United Arabian Emirates. It is between Saudi Arabia and Oman. One of the most rich places in the world and a very nice place, too. In the ´60s and ´70s they (the Britains, I think) found oil over there.
Anyway, the Dodge Challenger must be a famous car in 1970 in this part of the world. How many did they import ? I know they order cars mostly full equipped with the biggest engines ! Oh yes, how many Hemis went there ?

Thanks, JJ. I'll bet any car they got over there won't rust like most of the ones we have. There's still salt on our roads from last week's snow! And now I know where it is!

I have managed to buy the collectible postcard below.
The stamp above and the postcard would make a perfect couple, wouldn´t they?
The text is saying:
Send me a customer and if they buy, I will send you a $25.00 check. Signed Low Mattiola, Caputo - Soracco Dodge.
(It was sent to Mr. John R. Foster, 443 Cedar drive, Coraopolis PN 15108.)
It looks like this dodge dealer still exists. Now it is named: Cutrones Chrysler Jeep Dodge West.
