My 1970 RT Restoration

Postby Mopar Racer 70 » 08 Feb 2014 18:32

Some progress pictures of my restoration. I have had this car since 1978 and due to life situations it sat under a tarp (big mistake) from 1995 to 2012 but I am finally restoring it. It was a big decision to restore it or let it go as the body was pretty much gone. The media blaster was so unfriendly to it. After lots of thought and sourcing out of parts the restoration won :D . It is originally a 383 4 speed car in B-5 blue with black top interior and RT stripes the color scheme I am going back to. I have rebuilt the 383 and it sits on a test stand in my garage and every few Saturdays I remind my neighbors thru the glass packs and headers what's in store
