I think it's true that Mopar lovers need more than 1. This is my '71 Cuda Convertible, fun in the sun!

Beautiful Cuda'! Is it a 383 or, a 440 Six Pack? The picure on the billboard, is a little distorted on my computer.

It's a 383 with 4 speed transmission. It has power top, power disc brakes, shaker hood with original componets. We used to have a '70 440 Cuda, but it went to a new home.

..and the green ´71 440 ´Cuda then? Is it also yours?

The '71 440 Cuda was ours, my husband did all the restoration on this one too, except paint. He drove to Arizona to buy the car, then he totally restored it. It's some where in the USA now at a new home.

So it just needed the paint buffing eh?

Your man sure has the skills to not just restore these cars but finding them in the first place is pretty hard too!

LMAO Dave, just a little wet sanding and it was ready to go...haha The funny part is that he has a full time job that has nothing to do with mechanics/cars. The only problem with restoration is the $$$, but it save's a lot due to the fact that he can do everything except body and paint. He put together a challenger for a friend in July and is just finishing another Cuda for a guy. I will admit, I'm a lucky wife:):)

Your man must put in some long hours to accomplish these projects. I couldn't keep that kind of schedule on just one Challenger. What is the secret if i may ask?

I have been doing e-bodies for years and years. I just know where everything goes and what order and that cuts the time down considerably which also helps the customer. How many shop hours are spent and charged to the customer trying to figure out where what goes where in shops that do every kind of car???????
I also do it in my home garage so after work I go out and just do it for a few hours every day. Weekends longer. I would say I spend an average of 25 to 30 hrs/week putting ebodies together. So once I get the car back from the body shop it usually only takes me 2.5 to 3 months to get it back together and running as long as the customer has the parts and I don't have to wait. I also don't charge shop rates!!!!!! I like it this way. I am home and if wife or kids need anything I just drop what I am doing and go and do it.
I also go to the body shop every other day and watch what they are doing in the blocking and sanding. I do my own metal work but the final stages I leave to the pro's for that laser straight appearance. I have been working with the same body shop for years and have a very good relationship with them.

Well you must be one of the reasons there are so many really nice Mopars in Ontario.

I wish I could get so many hours in. Last year I was doing 1-2 hours on the car every night. But as you say, a lot of that time was working out what I was going to do or remembering where I was.

I must take my wife to Toronto/Ontario one day. She would love it. I have not been since 1979. But have very fond memories of the area.
