Cool story Drew! I thought that Dodge dealership looked familiar! Whatever happened to the Duster? I had one during that same time and drove it to the University where I was going to school at. It eventually rusted so bad the radiator 'fell' out of the brackets! The leaning tower of Power,(/6), kept on running great! Even when they loaded the car on the salvage yard hauler it still ran like a champ.

ya know i did some road racing with that car, my first track event was with the porsche club, and i did my laps in a class with those 914,s,and cars like that, well i left before trophys were handed out, and i got home and my buddie says "do you want me to pick your 2nd place trophy"?, i was stunned to say the least, so the next year they porsche club told us we couldnt run with them any more cause we took trophies that were for club members :s024: :s024: :s024: , so we found that the alpha club was glad to have us, until i took home a 3rd place trophy :s024: :s024: :s024: ,so i have trophies from scca/porsche,and alpha club and people ask how i got that hardware, from odd ball clubs, confusing people alot! since im a mopar nut, and that is why, its fun to sneak up on people and blast by them, and they dont expect it from a mopar, heck alot of those porsche guys done even realize that mopars use torsion bars too! :disbelief:

Wow, what arrogance, what brazen attitude, I love it! I wonder why Porches are like that? I have a front porch and a back porch and I'm not that way! :s024: You know what the difference is between a Porshe owner and a porcupine is Drew? The pricks are on the outside of a porcupine!

yes they were even more shocked when they saw a 318 2bbl,904 trans,3;91 rear, headers ,and factory air, thats it, a real light car ,that car was fast out of the hole and then dropped off dramaticly ,but it handled well enough to go faster than most people thought, and it was an a body that won the first trans am event,so never under estimate an a body! :fight:
