´Cool project you got there!! :thumbsup: I like the lines of those mid to later sixtees bodies.. Real nice for a cool street/race machine! :D I am looking forward to see the progress!

Colour = Mauve (my dad is deciding on that 1)

Engine is 440 stroked to 512 with either a Dominator Carb or tunnel ram which we have.

Yeah, when its all done, gotta take it for a tune up, hopefully it will all go smoothly, before Euronats in July then onto the Nats :mrgreen:

Looks like a mean homebrewed racer! What is that dash piece? Just a generic plastic dash shell?

Looks like one of Dale Edmonds's Dart dashes. He made one for another Dart owner in the UK so he will have the mould.

Yeah, thanks... No worries, just had some fever and bad virus... (Twice in this last month) fine now do... I have been taking out the car now, so i am really positive! :D (Accept for some problems with leaking powersteering, after an incident when the strap got loose in the middle of a "race" and whipped the pipe that feeds steering with oil.. But nothing bad that don't brings anything positive, now i finally took care of freshen the pump up, and paint it etc.. looks sweet) :P

The welds look OK to me.
Not pretty or neat. But OK.

Or did you mean his tack welds? I don't think they are finished yet.

Mine never look pretty either. But if the penitration is there the jobs a good'un. :thumbsup:

Just been finalizing the welding on the cage, and have now begun to spray the interior shell and dash satin matte black. Need more paint :D
The car should then be sprayed by Late October at latest, so are in the process of rubbing down the body.

Then its
Build Engine, Fit it and trans
Wiring
Racing seats, interior etc.
