Came home tonight to find Herman proudly displaying this, his latest bit of handiwork

That's nothing, once when we were little kids Jake got in the house while everyone was at school. When we arrived home, pillows, couch cushions, table cloths, worst of all, our precious stuffed animal guys were shredded throughout the entire back yard. I'm talkin Major Devastation.

Such trauma and the effects of basic human logic are why I will never have an animal to post on this particular topic.

Thats a good story Jon, sounds like it left you mentally scarred We had a boxer dog called Suki when we were kids and she smashed my mums kitchen to bits one day, emptied the cupboards and the fridge, mess was unbeleivable
She also ate a home perm kit and a pound of lard at my Grandmas house, lucky she threw it up, the vet said the amonia in the hair products would have killed her.

Herman may be too naughty for Santa but he is 4 years old today and very happy, just eaten a massive squeaking squid Carol got for him

Those eye's are begging forgiveness, though. I couldn't stay mad with him looking at me like that.

Not to mention they know how to play us off each other. When my wife scolds Sneakers he'll just come and find me. I too can't stay mad at animals (except humans) as they have no concept of reason (also some humans). Though when she scolds Iggy, he just turns around to her with his puppydog eyes and she says she's sorry to him then and there

When my wife tells Herman off he just wags his tail and mouths back at her...................she hates it, I love it
