Here's my German Shepard, Jasmine. Now 8 years old, we got her when she was 2. She finds her way into most of my car pictures, as some of you have probably seen!

Beautiful dog! I used to have shepard when I was a kid. They are very intelligent dogs! :thumbsup:

Yeah she's bright, always loved German Shepards for that. And she made friends with our cats! She's really protective of the family, too. Chased a Bobcat out of our yard the other night!

Thats impressive! Bobcats here in Indiana are very rare. Last year some Jackass let one go that he imported from the South I think, but it killed a couple of horses! Then the cops killed the BobCat.

Horses??!! Our neighbors have horses, and the bobcats sit out at the edge of their field during the day and just watch the horses. Never tried to attack them, and we still have our cats, too.

Hadnt seen them in years, but they're making a comeback in numbers here in Connecticut, and the biggest I've seen was as large as Jasmine, I thought it was a small dog at first.

Shepardds are cool/ My college roommate and I had a white (not albino) Shepard, It grew to be about 125 lbs!!
