Posted: 11 May 2008 19:39Here's my German Shepard, Jasmine. Now 8 years old, we got her when she was 2. She finds her way into most of my car pictures, as some of you have probably seen!

Posted: 12 May 2008 21:15Yeah she's bright, always loved German Shepards for that. And she made friends with our cats! She's really protective of the family, too. Chased a Bobcat out of our yard the other night!
Posted: 12 May 2008 21:28Thats impressive! Bobcats here in Indiana are very rare. Last year some Jackass let one go that he imported from the South I think, but it killed a couple of horses! Posted: 13 May 2008 1:14Horses??!! Our neighbors have horses, and the bobcats sit out at the edge of their field during the day and just watch the horses. Never tried to attack them, and we still have our cats, too.
Hadnt seen them in years, but they're making a comeback in numbers here in Connecticut, and the biggest I've seen was as large as Jasmine, I thought it was a small dog at first.

Posted: 13 May 2008 13:45Shepardds are cool/ My college roommate and I had a white (not albino) Shepard, It grew to be about 125 lbs!!
