Yeah. She had been a big part of my life for 17 years. Did everything with me. Always there for me.

The hardest thing a man can do is have his best friend destroyed.

The snap after the lady on the park bench is absolute dog happiness.... eyes as bright as a Jan morning and the tongue hangin at the side of the mouth as if to say that was a great run I want a drink and then can we do it again can we!! can we!!...

What a beautiful dog Dave! I am sorry for you. I had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ("Ludde") that also was born 1990, but he died 1996 allready, that was like loosing my best friend, it was hard for me! My dad has a dog (a mix of Labrador and Golden Retriever) he is also black, with white "beard", like your "Lizzie". I really like that, looks cute!

I know that ever time I've lost a dog, I've lost my best friend too.
Our dog Sneakers sleeps on his back just like the one posted above.
