Does he love to go for rides? My Lab Hershey goes nuts. I cant even mention "bye bye" or "Hemi" he knows he is going to go. No he's not allowed in the R/T, same as the wife! :s016:

Ryley goe's everywere with me/us. Except in the Challenger. He know's better. :tears: He get's very happy when he hear's me fire up one of the Ford's, or even the Nisson. He know's he's going cruizin'. That darned dog love's to ride along. I'm just not too crazy with the idea of a 95 LB. dog scuffing up the interior of the Chally. :s021:

Here's one on webbed paw's. I got some great pic's of Ryley crashing through the breaker's on the Oregon coast. He's a nut for that dumb stick, ball, whatever you throw for him. I'll post some of those as soon as I can find them.

I let Ryley out last Saturday to do his morning constitutional. He bolted out the door as usual but hit two feet of new snow. He turned around and looked at me like the snow was something I did.

Damn dog sure love's his stick. He wiped out a couple of surfer's on the Oregon coast. I wish I would have caught that on film. I guess I kind of instigated it though. When he see's the ocean, he's in doggie Heaven. He love's all water except for rain. Go figure. :s012:

That's cool Pat. A good friend indeed. You seem like a kid with his dog, lots of fun. :)

Cool pics Pat, Hershey hates rain too! He cleans his webbed paws for the longest time, coming back inside after a rain.

My last dog Lizzie was just the same. Couldn't keep her out of water and always had a stick. If she had a stick near water she would insist you throw it into the water so she could fetch it.

My current dog Billy is a water (and soap) dodger. He cannot understand why other dogs like the stuff. The only water he likes is shallow muddy puddles that he likes to run through fast just to get more dirty and smelly.

I just had Billy in the shower this morning as his smell was getting a bit rich. You should have seen the colour of the water going down the plughole. :s001:
Now he has dried he looks like a fuffy tinkerbell.

I was a little late on the Pic's. Forgot to post until now. Yes, Jon. And that dumb dog makes me feel like a kid too. I'm glad that we have our furry friend's. And, I feel sorry for those who don't know what its like to have such amazing pet's. They really are special, and great family member's! :D

Pat, has your Lab Riley ever had any 'seizures'? Mine, Hershey, has em every so often, maybe once every few months! Scared the hell outta me, I thought he was dying the first time it happened,(he's had a total of 6, the vet said he's got an allergy possibly to preservatives in our slop,(processed food). So he gets NO treats anymore, even doggie treats! :frown:

Ryley only get's seizure's when you say the word food, and he feel's that he's not getting it soon enough. He's a pretty healthy dog, he eat's everything. We try to keep him on his Purina diet, though.

Good to hear. I feed my dogs Pro-Plan which is processed by purina foods I think. It also tastes pretty good, a little grainy for my tastes but it's got a better flavor than my wifes cooking.(Dont ask me how I know)

I wish we would get some deep snow. Like really deep. I love it. Dogs love it. But we haven't had any deep snow here for like 15 years or something?

Awesome dog! I'd like to go get one tonight. We used to have a Dane – miss the beast immensely. :tears: Love Labs and Golden R's too.

Ryley, is a big stud. Or so, he think's. Love's big snow and busting through it. Love's the the ocean and busting through the great breaker's. He is a big wussy when, it comes to just rain though. He hates getting wet, durring a down pour. I get him in the house then, take him into the garage. And before I get him into the Utillity Room, to dry him off, He alway's shake's on the Challenger. :s021: I know he doe's this, on purpose.
Love him anyway, Pat

You are a hairy Limey! I'll bring the shop vac on our next trip through the Nevada Desert. Ryley will provide good practice until, this grooming occurs. :s024:  :s024: :s019:

Cheers!

Ryley won't sit still for anything. But, when it comes to the vacuum, he stikes the pose. He fetches, he eats like a horse, he sleeps and likes to get vacuumed. He's our only boy though. :D And we love him. :s004:

Again, "Strange dog, though". :hmmm:

We been doing that on Hershey for years. The groomers all use vacums around here. Great story though! Ryley is a cool Lab! Yeah Dave is a Hairy Beast of a fellow :s024:
