I see thanks for the explanation, I'm pretty ignorant on the specific breeds, I love them all. It's their unconditional love for their owners that makes them so special. In ancient times, the Roman Empire would carry the Bischon Frische' on silver platters. They envisioned trust as the ultimate homage to these dedicated creatures and it fascinated them. My Bischon "Biscuit" was rescued because the owners didnt like him and wanted to euthanise him. Their unconditional love is sometimes mistaken for "arrogance" and "nosiness", dogs dont know these silly emotions. He's home now

My wife and I spend approx. 100.00 a month on pet supplies grooming for Hershey and Biscuit,(My Choc Lab and Bischon), they eat Pro-Plan dog food, get their HeartGuard and Advantage Plus monthly, see the vet once a year for blood work heartworm test ect..My Lab Hershey is a double graduate of obedience training, dont tell my wife but he has technically a higher level of education than she does :s023:

I think so too Drew. The companionship and the laughs we all have together are truley priceless and provide a much better quality of life for all of us. Some people however shouldnt have pets, they dont spade or nueter them then the offspring usually are euthanised or suffer a worse fate like starving or used for fighting/gambling. :(
