She is how old Drew? And yes all good reasons if you love them like I/we do. I do know some people that shouldn't have them like NFL football players

Cool, Yeah that man should be locked up in prison, but I would get even with him very easily, I would spread a rumor that he raped kids. Then he would have the devil to pay!

What were Pomeranians bred for Drew? My Lab Hershey was used for Naval Cold Water operations. They assisted the men on the ships helping to pull rope with their teeth! Later an English Conservationist in the early 1800's brought them from Newfoundland to England where they were bred with the Retriever and had a natural affinity to hunting and retrieving waterfowl and game over water, they were then brought here from England. Recently, the AKC recognised the Labrador Retriever as a "Registered Breed". It is estimated that 51% of American Households have a 'Lab" as a pet. They arent agressive at all and live/love to aid their owners. My Dauchshunds are bred for hunting Badgers/Moles in Germany and were the 'official' dog of the Tuetonic Empire. Sadly, many of these dogs were stoned to death after the War because of their representation to germany. Today they are enjoyed as a faithfull companion and make excellent watchdogs believe it or not. They have a lot of heart.

well as far as i know , the book i have says that the germans , breed them from alaskan malamute,s sibered huskeys, and some kind of spitz breed, i think this small breed is a more modern breed , there fore no real "war" history, but rumor has it that they were for chasing out small rodents onto there holes, . the lab is a great breed we may eventually get a litle larger dog like a lab they have personality,s like people, and are very smart! :s007:

yea we had a golden lab when i was a teenager & he had no problem with people he loved everyone but when it came to other dogs he had a bad habit of ripping them to bits he was a cool dog just had no tolerance at all for dogs he didnt know & he was over size so he never lost a fight even on 1 occasion when there were 3 dogs (1 german shep 1 black lab & 1 blue healer) i was only 14 & didnt have the strength to hold him back so i just watched in awe as he sorted them all out in 3 seconds flat it was the most savage dog attack ive ever seen but he was a great mate just the same
cheers ian

Ian, that was a cool story man! My dog Hershey is the kindest, gentlest, dog I know. He loves kids and when my grandson comes over to play they go at it. The kid is only 4 so the dog has to be gentle and 'allowing' like he loves to have his tail played with by that kid, he doesnt enjoy it from anything else just the kid. The only time I have ever seen him agressive is around cats, I love cats and would have one but my Dauchshunds abhorr them and so does Hershey. :?

Hey Drew, this dog look familiar? Her name is Pepper and she is a Belgium Schirippe! They were bred by the "vikings" to hunt vermin on the sailing vessels! Pepper weighs only 12 ozs. for now, she will get about 3-5 lbs. 1.5-2.5 kilos at adult hood
