Bob's 09 SE upgrades

Postby jh27n0b » 17 Mar 2009 1:36

I have been busy upgrading my new baby.

1- Moved the Challenger grille emblem to the correct side .
2- Installed spoiler
3- Installed 70 style stripes
4- Put the Challenger script badges on the fenders.

I am next going to black out the hood. Add dual exhausts with the challenger tips, and I would like to lower the car by about 1 inch or 25.4 mm for those of yyou across the big pond.

Thanks Dave and Drew.

The spoiler I bought off of e-bay and it is identical to the mopar one but at half the cost. I repainted it with a little more gloss in the black to better match the black already on the car. The rear valence will have to either be cut or replaced with an R/T valance. I will try to cut it and make it look good but I am a little nervous about that.

It is not the cutting that is tricky. It is making the neat edge.
I watched a mate make a dual exhaust rear valance from a normal one on his 1973 Challenger. He did a really neat job making the bead around the cut.
I couldn't have done it. :s008:

I guess this one is made of plastic?
