2009 Challenger SE

Postby Crusader68 » 13 Mar 2009 22:18

Funny story, my parents bought me a car for graduation, and i didnt get to have a say in what i got. What i ended up getting was a Pontiac G5. Dont get me wrong, i was greatful to have a car let alone a brand new one, but the G5 just didnt fit me well, it's a tiny car, and im just under 6 foot and 215 lbs so i felt a little silly driving it around town. I had seen the 2008 SRT at a dealer when they first came out, but they are way too expensive, not only with the sticker of $40,000+ but im 19 yrs old so the insurance would be throught the roof. As luck would have it a month ago today I was in a car accident, and my car was totalled, so i was shopping for a new car and decided to take a look at a local Dodge dealer, and descovered the SE model challenger, I was in love. I always loved the old muscle/pony car styling way better than any new cars. Well it took 3 weeks for me to find one in the color I wanted, but i finally got it. I love this car more than i eer thought i could.

Its the SE trim in Deep Water Blue, It has the G package of options:

oh i love it, a much better fit for me. Only complaint is i wish it had a little more power but the R/T was too much money for right now, maybe one day I might upgrade it to 5.7L
