The Dodge Challenger Message Board

Is there a way to determine the production number on the 08 Challengers? Are they sequential or built in different plants? I'm looking at several but would like a lower number if possible. One Vin is 2B3LJ74WX8H300297. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They're all made at Brampton so perhaps they are sequentially numbered?

I don't know how they allocate VIN numbers these days but with our old cars the VIN had little to do with the order they came down the production line and the end numbers were not model specific either.

I just found out the number is on a plaque on the dash, that VIN was First Edition 2476-6400.

All of the 2008s have the dash plaque.
I figured that since the whole run had already been allocated, perhaps the sequence number may actually mean something.
