I was all over this today. It goes to some dude named "John" in California. I think 'our own' Jon is holding back on us  They let the battery run down so they had to clear the code on the dash check engine/service soon light, in turn it was sitting there honking it's horn when the actautor test went into check mode.No one was in the car and I about hit my head on the hood when the horn blared!

#4 Dual Catalytic Convertors with dual resonators near the rear tips outlet. Pretty heavy, I bet the aftermarket is making a lightweight Stainless Steel version that flows better as we speak.

Is undercoating still an option? (Look at the pic.)

I didnt catch the tires Drew, sorry, but they sure were low profile! Chris, I dont know about the undercoating either? The colour is of course different than the topside of the car, wonder if it's rich zinc type coating that foils corrosion and weighs less than the factory undercoating? The exhaust uses a composite matrix heat shield thats very thin. The undercoating would of course be necessary here in Indiana with the salty winter roads, but if one were to drive an SRT in the snow they should be beat with a coil wire! BTW, I dont even know if that floorpan is sheet steel but I bet it is. The Z-06 uses balsa wood. alluminum sheet& resin and only weighs 36 lbs.(we had one in our bodyshop class, the floorpan that is), It is also much stronger than steel sheet torsionally. This new Chally is a heavy car and weighs 700 lbs more than either a new Viper or Vette. But what a gem!

Oh I forgot to post this. 50,000 approx. U.S. dollars! Man thats 10k more than my modest home, but worth it! I guess they 'marked' it up 10k? Thats what the techs told me it sold for, although as you can see the car listed for 40k :frown: It leaves for Cali. Tomm. then they get 2 more of their allocated amount which are also sold.

And of course you guys knew it had 'fly by wire' accelerator cable. Or lack therof. This 'silver box' next to the tubing on top of the front of the engine is a ETC,(Electronic Throttle Control), mash the pedal and it 'tells' the PCM,(Computer), how far to open the throttle blades! They had to put a spring in the throttle pedal to give the driver a cable feel. Pretty cool huh!

I guess you must to pay to have one of the first.

Transport and swaps between dealers cost money especially on a scarce commodity. Hope to see one out here in Kalyfornya soon too.

You can get a house for $40K ?

A "modest" home here would cost you at least $150,000. No land with that either.
A small semi-detatched home like mine with a little garden will cost you around $400,000 depending on the area.

No wonder you guys can afford so many cars.

OMG! That sucks/blows Dave! Tyne&Wear must be a resort area like Californicate! :s024: Seriously, I bought my home in 1988 for $40,000 with 1 acre of land. It's built like shit but I have had to build a huge garage /shop enough to house 3 cars/my work area too. These 'modest' homes dont raise that much in value however, today my home is worth maybe 60-65k even with all the additions/improvements. Is all of England that expensive Dave? Are there other areas where housing is say as cheap as it is over here? I couldnt imagine paying 450k. I have paid my home off 2 times. I keep getting new mortgages to buy my 'toys', lol. If you wanted to live in the city of Terre Haute, you can buy modest/small homes with 2 baths and 3 bedrooms about 1000-1500 ft. of living space for as low as 20-30k all day every day. These are older homes that are decent but need a bit of work. There are also homes here that cost 3 million! The most expensive home in Terre Haute is a Heart Surgeon's home. It was built a few years ago fo a cost of 7 million. He lost it in the flood a couple weeks ago! But the average home here is about 40-60k. The least expensive place to live here in the states is the midwest. I only pay 450 a year in property tax.(I get 20% off for my disability), mental, lol!

The further from London you are the cheaper the average house price is and you can't get a lot further from London than where I live and still be in England!

The Cheapest house I could find in my town with a quick search was this one photographed below. $180,000 for a two bedroom terraced house. No land. Just a small concrete yard at the rear. In a rough area too.

In some parts of London you could probably pay a couple of million dollars for something like that.

Look at these two houses. Similar size to mine. Similar type of property - three bed semi-detached.
Both are in the same general area of Newcastle. An area called Fenham. Where I grew up. But not where I live now.

The only difference is one is in a group of streets a little run down and has many immigrants there. It is also slightly smaller than the second one and has no garage or room for one.
The other is on the slightly better side of the same area. Slightly larger and has a small garage.

The first one is $200,000 and the other is $450,000.

well here in colorado, we are not to far from cali, and they did bring there money, i bought a house here modest home 3 bed, 2 bath 2 car garage,in 1990 $78000, and in 2006 sold it for $235000,properety here is a good investment if you know what i mean , we dont get hurricanes, not mush flooding, average rainfalll is 12 to 15 inches a year , we do get tornados, and blizzards, but people keep moving here from cali and the south,i wondr what things will be like in 5 years! :tears: :disbelief:

Wow, Dave! Thats pretty expensive! Here those exact homes would sell for 65k tops! Drew, now I know why we had so many Prison Guards leave here and re-locate to Colorado only to return in a few years. They couldnt afford the living expenses! However Colo./California were the most beautiful states I think! And the chicks are gorgeous!
