Dealer invoice etc

Allpar has a dealer invoice posted on their website http://www.allpar.com/cars/dodge/challenger.html

FWP= "Factory Wholesale Price."
HB= 1239.00 (Holdback, 3% of MSRP (before Destination) back to dealer)
FFP= 39,627.00 (Family & Friends Program, 1% below invoice)
EP= 38,237.00 (Employee Price, about 5% below invoice)
Thus, the dealer actually pays considerably less than the $40,027 “wholesale price.” In fact, dealers usually pay less than the wholesale price minus the holdback (in this case, $40,027 - $1,239 = $38,788), with both an advertising reimbursement and supplemental floorplan reimbursement. The number of Challenger SRT-8s per dealer is fairly low, and the profit margins will come in handy for those who had to deal with large stocks of Calibers, fewer Ram and SUV sales, and the loss of short-wheelbase Caravans.

The interior is, we’re told, very different from the concept. The radio area is completely different; the console top is the same color but has a different shape, including an iPod valley in front. Gauges are different, and now include large chrome rings around each pod (a late change).

I've got my Challenger on order, I was actually able to put a deposit down months before the Dec 3rd date. I'm number 2 at my dealership to receive my SRT8. The dealer called me a couple of weeks ago and asked me 3 things they needed to know, what color I wanted(Hemi Orange) and whether or not I wanted a sunroof or upgraded sound system and Navigation system(Said no to both) I was notified before I put a deposit down that the dealer was charging $2500 over MSRP. I didn't particularly happy about that but I did expect it...I heard that some dealers may be charging $5000 over MSRP. I've also read that the cars could sell for $10-20,000 over MSRP(shades of the Ford GT a few years ago selling for $50,000 over MSRP) All in all with the situation of only 5 cars per dealership, i thought the $2500 was reasonable and expected. Can't wait till April!!!!!!
