I should imagine the bolt patterns will interchange between the different models. It would make much more economic sense if they do. Then see what the aftermarket releases.

Thanks! I stole it from the #1 magazine (if you ask me) here in Sweden: Wheels Magazine. I used to be a subscriber but nowadays I have become a "Mopurist". In each issue they have a quite amusing crossword and that is where I found the pic (I made the pic smaller using Irfanview.) Below is the complete page from the magazine.

HS and TP appear to be correlated to the LS? Some sort of traction control? Electric lockers for some stoplight action? :s003:

Hurst Shifter=HS TirePressure=TP (I thinkit's the tire pressure indicator)

I got it a bit wrong, or? Here is a better answer: The power comes more directly if you have a manual transmission, that is the need for a LS is greater with that type of trans.

Thanks Chris, I realise the effects of a limited slip sure grip style rear. I was just curious why they didnt include the auto tranny with one? Back in the day if you had an auto and ordered the performance axle package you got a LS regardless of transmission choice. Of course I wouldnt own an auto version anyway with those slick shifting Tremecs there really is no need to.

TP might stand for Track Pack option availability.

Perhaps LS means real limited slip rear-end while with automatic it's just computers brain that plays with transmission control and ABS. At least that's how it's done on V8 Lincolns. With manual computer has less control over drivetrain.

I wonder if there is an LS-option for an auto car available? Does anyone know?

Yes, that is correct. Trak Pak = marketing name for the transmission, shifter, and gearing.
