Yeah Wayne, my 2nd car was a 73 with the 340/auto. It ran great for a big car/ small engine. :mrgreen: Cool vid--Bon Scott :s019:

I just read the story behind the man at Chrysler who 'developed' the R.R. back in 68,(Jack Smith). If you only knew how close he was to failing many times to get the car into production it was a real 'con job' on his part. Then when it was successful, the President of Chrysler wanted to make the roadrunner available in every production vehicle they had, including station wagons! :biggrin: (True story) MoPar Action magazine interview with Jack Smith.
