US 50 runs east south of Reno (Carson City) towards Ely, part of this was the old the Silver State Classic route http://www.silverstateclassic.com/. This section of US 50 is nicknamed the lomliest road. It then continues east through Saalt Lake City and points east to Maryland's eastern shore. This is a sea to sea highway.I drive semi-regularly on part of it around here. You will cross US 50 on the way to Goldfield.

Cool video, Drew! I added it to my Fav.s on youtube. It would be a blast to drive like that but, ouch with the repair's. Paint alone, would be $$$$. :roll: :s012:
