Get in there my son! :lol2:

Great!

Loved the cock-up at the end. Did you think for a moment you were driving an off-road car?

No that was very impressive. You did all of us Challenger owners proud. :wink2:

No, but with the new rear set-up, it's much less forgiving if I screw up my downshifts (now I have to rev-match or the rear-end will stutter like a Porsche when you try to brake with the engine). That was on perfectly flat pavement.
With the pedal arrangement, heel-toe is almost impossible (or I need right-foot surgery).

There's another one that's pretty funny (not for the guy who posted it though) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1h-qrF8C390

At around 05:39, he says (in French, of course) "his dodge is real quick, but he can't do sh*t in the corners".
Seconds later, "we're going to overtake him now" (just before I accelerate), and after the next 180° turn (around 06:25), "he's quick, damnit!"
Actually, I think the comments are from the passenger (complaining that he needs to take a leak in another video of the same event)...

What I find really nice in my video, is the head movements of my passenger. He retightened his harness twice during the 20-minute session, and he was shaking each time I was accelerating or braking.

And I still have some work on the brakes, I just installed the rear discs, didn't touch the bias. I know I can brake much later than I do now, but it's not easy to go all out in that kind of event. Many people there were not accustomed to racetracks (you can see smoke at one time in the video, at the hairpin corner, with 4 cars taking the turn at the same time), and some have unexpected reactions.

The good thing is, everything's easy now. I can drive to the track, swap out the black carburetor secondary spring for the yellow one (2 minutes if I'm slow), check the oil level, and I'm ready. (Sometimes I can open the exhaust line too, like I did last week - most times I can't).

The only problems left are overheating (I can't do more than 20 minutes) and oil pressure in the long curves (that's why I decellerate, to avoid falling below 30 psi).

Next thing : Canton oil accumulator, and an oil cooler.
