 Really enjoying moment to see your videos. That Chally must have road quality almost like a new sportscar. It would be cool watching a video on your car beating the shit off some new Corvette or some euro car, like BMW M3 etc.. on a track... :s003: :p:

It will take some more time to get to the track (fuel pump got stuck after I ran out of fuel at the end of the 3rd video, it needs to be rebuilt, I need to replace the dash and column harnesses, replace the rear end [back to 4.10], install the rear disc brake kit, etc.).

But that's the idea.

Santa Pod in July, a 5-day regularity rally in France in September, and as many track days as possible before that.

The funny thing is that the 13" brakes look really tiny in the 19" wheels!

What type of suspension are you going to have in the back?

Rear end is almost stock (Mopar Perf XHD leaf springs, QA1 single adjustable shocks, OEM sway bar). The leaf springs do feel flimsy compared to the damping power of the shocks. I don't like that too much.

I have no plans for this year concerning the rear suspension. I'd like to drive a little this year (I only drove the car 3 times last year), so I'll take care of that later, if something needs to be done.

The new sway bar is almost as big as the previous one (around 27mm diameter). INstallation of the whole thing took days, and the cameraman wasn't there all the time, but the sway bar was on before the engine was started. Front springs are rated at 550 (lbs/inch), so I've been wondering whether I would have felt the absence of the bar at all.

I wondered because I didn't see it in the film.

550lbs springs? Each?

My 1" torsion bars are pretty stiff for a street ride and they are only just over 200lbs/in

It is going to understeer like crazy without a rear end maybe 2x as stiff as the stock rear suspension? I don't know how stiff those springs are? Don't crash it!

Nice. I liked the Benny Hill music in the second video. I miss that show.
