nice car I got to see an Austin in the flesh cool old cars ,got one for my avatar

Love it, we had a black A35 as a field car to scream about the farm yard in when we was kids..........used to take it in turns to hang on to the roof while a mate screamed it around the yard

Sounds like they were pretty good cars

They were just so cheap and plentiful, not recognised as classics and preserved like they are now.................25 quid usually got you a good runner, probably even roadworthy to boot
