1968 Coronet R/T

My mate Andy just bought this Coronet R/T.
It came into the UK as a nice restoration, all numbers matching and all documents. Nice example.
The guy that imported it sent it to be caged and strengthened straight away. Then fitted a 800hp engine. It cost a LOT of money. First time the owner drove it it scared the poo out of him and he sold it off rather than drive it again.
It quickly passed through a couple of other people. The last one using it at the EuroNats where it ran 10.8 with a slipping transmission. My mate Andy heard it was for sale while also at the 'Nats and put a deposit down on it straight away. He then went off on holiday for a couple of weeks. Getting home on Tuesday night.
Wednesday at 6am he set off for Yorkshire and paid the rest of the money. He has got it for a fraction of what it cost to build.
Wednesday night he was at our local cruise with it.
Me and him left to go home at the same time and with him leading we both did rolling burnouts out of the shopping mall car park and drove like teenagers all the way home. I had a grin all over my face all night after that.
